Elizabeth McCoy's father was John McCoy (4) (1764 - 1836) and her mother was Charity Bennett (4) (1783 - 1820). John was a Revolutionary War Veteran. He was a native of Fairfield County, SC. He owned land in Newberry and Laurens Counties, and probably Fairfield County. Both John and Charity are buried in Laurens County, SC. Charity Bennett's father was Micajah Bennett (5) (? - 1798) and he died in Newberry County, SC. Her mother is unknown at this time.
