William Batis Dilbeck![]() Batis and Mary Dilbeck and their children and in-laws, taken before 1913. William Batis Dilbeck (1865 - 1936) was married to Mary Manervy Carney (1870 - 1962) and they had 10 children that lived past infancy and at at least 2 that didn't, for whom we have no information. Willie Franklin Dilbeck was the youngest of their children, and my father, and had not been born when the picture (below) was taken. You can learn more about them and their families on my Dilbecks of Dawson County page, written by my mother when she was just starting to research our family history. William Batis Dilbeck's father was William Willis Dilbeck (1) (1805 - 1887), a Civil War Veteran who was married first to Sarah Jones. They had 7 children. He was married second to Debbie Ann Ferriba (2) (1825 - 1899). They had one son, William Batis Dilbeck. Mary Manervy Carney's father was William A.
