JohnDilbeck.com is my personal site where I present information about a variety of topics. I have other, more specialized, sites and many of them are linked in the right column of this page.

I am a full-time marketer and work out of my home in the mountains of western North Carolina.

Over the years, I have joined and tested over 1,100 websites and affiliate programs. Most have not been worth the effort and I'll never recommend them to you. I've wasted enough time, effort and money for both you and me.

However, I've also found a few real gems that you may want to know about. At the very top of that list is Site Build It! I've been able to go from a part-time dabbler to a full-time marketer and much of the credit for that should go to Ken Evoy, Site Build It!, and Make Your Site Sell!

21st Century Articles

Once again, 21st Century Articles was hacked and I have discontinued it, permanently. I just don't have the time and resources to fight these kinds of attacks. I urge you to submit your articles to EzineArticles.com.

Continuing Development

One of the things I'm doing is moving more and more content from this site to a variety of Blogs that I maintain on a variety of domains. One of the reasons I'm doing this is that it provides a "write once, publish many" type of syndication. I can create a blog on a specific topic and update it as I have content worth publishing. Then, using a few lines of javascript, the headlines or full-text of a selected number of postings can be shown on any page on the Internet that wants to do so.

The Syndicated News section is developing nicely, and you are welcome to read those blogs in their syndicated format.

I've been able to build an income by marketing products for several merchants, all from the comfort of my home here in the mountains of western North Carolina, near the lovely town of Murphy, NC 28906, located in Cherokee County, North Carolina. One of my most recent projects is developing a new Murphy, NC Business Guide, which still has a ways to go.

As I've learned more about affiliate marketing, I've discovered that I really enjoy this business and I'm turning more and more of my attention from arts and crafts to marketing books, posters, photos, magazines, ebooks, and other similar products. I'll continue to market telecommunications, webhosting, Internet access, and other similar services, too. There will be more emphasis on posting articles of interest to people who want a home business -- where my interest continues to grow.

Being available to help care for Mom remains my first priority and I don't see that changing. I will not have the time I once had to do outside sales, so I'll be cutting back on several things I've been doing, such as selling promotional products by visiting your businesses.

I'll be happy to help your further your marketing with promotional products, but only if you are located in Murphy, NC.

For several years, I've been trying to decide what I really want to do. What is my main purpose? What can I do to help the greatest number of people? What is my dream? What do I want to be doing A Year From Now?

The freedom to decide our destinies and then to strive to achieve them is something to be celebrated. I believe that ordinary people, working together on a common goal, can achieve extraordinary results. I intend to put that belief to the test.

I succeed by helping you succeed.
